MONSEY, NY - Junior forward Brandon Lupi scored his second goal of the game - a power-play goal with 2:47 left in the third period - to give Chatham a 4-3 boys ice hockey win over Northern Highlands and snap a five-game losing streak for the Cougars on Thursday night at Sport-o-Rama.

“I thought our commitment in the D zone was great tonight, especially while we were short-handed," Chatham coach Brendon Herr said. "Players were blocking shots and we were aggressive on loose pucks.

"(Jen Olnowich) made some key saves in the third and we moved the puck really well on the power play to give us some great opportunities. This win didn’t mean much in regards to standings but meant a lot for our confidence moving into the Mennen Cup next week."
