HOWELL, NJ - Freshman Ronan Curry scored a power-play goal in the third period for Chatham, slicing the deficit to one, before Jackson Liberty knocked in an empty-netter to secure its 3-1 boys ice hockey victory over the Cougars on Friday at the Howell Ice Rink.

Chatham senior goalie Jen Olnowich had her three-game shutout streak snapped in the loss. She extended her scoreless run to 145 straight minutes before Joe Virga scored to make it 1-0 for Jackson Liberty (7-2) in the second period. Olnowich ended with 18 saves for Chatham (5-2-2).

Declan Curry and Ryan Sordillo were credited with assists on Ronan Curry's goal.
