WEST ORANGE, NJ - Ryan Sordillo scored two goals and Jen Olnowich posted the third straight shutout as the Chatham boys ice hockey team blanked Oratory, 3-0, to win the Codey Arena Holiday Tournament Championship on Friday.

“I’m really proud of our group for committing to the D zone the last three games of this tournament," Chatham coach Brendon Herr said. "Jenn (Olnowich) was outstanding the whole tournament. I think this gives us a lot of confidence moving into the second half of the season.”

Junior forward Brandon Lupi scored to give Chatham (6-1-2) a 1-0 lead in the second period. Will White and Quinn Kelly were credited with assists on the goal.

Sordillo's first goal made it 2-0 in the second period, with assists from Ryan Mancino and Declan Curry. Sordillo capped the scoring by converting a pass from Gabriel Park in the third period.

Senior goalie Olnowich came up with 15 saves to earn her third straight shutout for the Cougars in the tournament. She also blanked Vernon and Verona at Codey Arena.
