CLARK, NJ - The Dr. William Robinson Plantation Museum is opening its doors on June 3 and 4, for a special 325th anniversary bash.   This historic Clark home, built in the late 17th century was home to Dr. Robinson, a physician and surgeon who immigrated to America in 1686 with his family.

This home was occupied through 1973, when the town of Clark purchased it.  The Clark Historical Society raised funds in the early part of the next decade to restore the dwelling to reflect the time period in which it was constructed.  It is currently listed on the New Jersey and National Registries of Historic Places.

“There is something for everyone here this weekend.  We have live demonstrations of the era.   One of my favorites is the display and presentation of 16th and 17th century medical tools,” said Scott McCabe, Director of the Dr. Wm. Robinson Plantation & Museum.
