5-K Race in Clark to Close Broadway, Valley Road Area Streets

CLARK, NJ – The 3rd Annual Polonia 5K Run will take place on Sunday, April 24 from 9:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. in the Broadway/Valley Road area.  The Clark Police Department is asking residents who live along the race course to move their cars to a side street in advance of the race.

According to a departmental Facebook post, no traffic will be allowed on the affected roads.  The following streets are marked as the race course:

  • Broadway
  • Prospect Street
  • Liberty Street
  • Oleander Way
  • Ascot Way
  • Lupine Way
  • Lincoln Boulevard

Traffic control officers will be stationed along the course to allow pedestrian crossings.   The department published a map of the affected area (see above).

Kamil Stoch, a two-time Olympic gold medalist in ski jumping, is a featured guest at the event.  For more information about the race, visit The Polish Cultural Foundation website.

“We do ask that if you can avoid driving in the area please do so and come out and enjoy the festivities,” the police department post said.
