Having someone inside a company refer you for a job at that company increases your chances of consideration by 1400%. That represents an enormous advantage, provided you know how to get that inside reference.
On Monday, September 28 at 6:30pm, join the Career Networking Group at the Scotch Plains Public Library as Alex Freund returns to take you through the process of getting an inside reference step by step. For people in transition or those contemplating a job change, it provides a road map for finding the right people at your target companies.
Alex Freund, the “landing expert,” supports job seekers into employment. He is known for making people feel comfortable when interviewing and is an effective and successful career coach. Alex conducts workshops on effective resume development and use of LinkedIn in the job-search process. He teaches a career development seminar, and publishes a blog designed especially for job seekers. Prior to his current position, Alex managed several large departments in two Fortune 100 companies. He maintains and publishes a free directory of job-search networking groups via his web site at http://www.landingexpert.com.
