On April 22, George Visconti was presented the Dwight D. Eisenhower West Point Leadership Award during a ceremony held on the grounds of the United States Military Academy at West Point.  The event was sponsored by the West Point Society of New Jersey, the Parents Club of West Point, and the West Point Society of Lehigh Valley.

The award honors high school juniors who have exceptional achievements in the areas of academics, community service, good citizenship, and leadership.

“George Visconti is extremely deserving of this recognition.  His strong academic record and his desire to give back to the community make him an outstanding student and even better person," commented Arthur L. Johnson High School Principal, Richard Delmonaco who nominated him for the award. "We are so proud of George and all he has accomplished.”
