Black Friday Comes Early to Clark

CLARK, NJ - Shoppers heading into Target in Clark this afternoon were stopping, pointing and pondering the tent neatly set up in a nook next to the entrance.   Many people were asking the same thing.  Could this possibly be a Black Friday shopper claiming rights to be first in line for the best deals?

Upon initial approach to the tent, it was unclear if anyone was inside, since all of sides were fully closed and hatched down for the rain.   However, repeated call-outs and subsequent visits to the tent seem to indicate there is no one inside.

One Target employee at the customer service desk indicated that the tent had been set up around noon today, and that this was the first time she had ever seen such dedication to getting a deal.   Target opens at 6:00 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day this year.
