LOS ANGELES, CA – Blaze Fast Fire’d Pizza, an innovative fast-casual chain restaurant, will open in the Clark Commons shopping center in second quarter, 2015. The modern day “pizza joint” features an assembly-line format that allows guests to customize a signature pizza or create their own.
The brand originated in California and now has a presence in 11 states. Its expansion to the East Coast began in July with the opening of its West Babylon (NY) restaurant. Its first New Jersey restaurant opens today in Paramus.
"Our mission at Blaze is really simple -- we're all about bringing the community a place where guests can connect, create and enjoy great pizza at crazy fast speed," said Jim Mizes, president & COO of Blaze Pizza. "If you think about it, there hasn't been a good way to enjoy a made-from-scratch pizza without the wait. Now there is. We believe this will be a game-changer in town."
The “casually hip” restaurants are known for their custom-built artisanal pizzas, freshly made salads, blood orange lemonade and s'more pies. Each restaurant makes its own dough from scratch using a recipe developed by critically-acclaimed Executive Chef Bradford Kent ("The Pizza Whisperer"). The thin-crust, 11-inch pizzas are baked in a blazing hot open-flame oven, “fast-fired” in just 180 seconds.
Blaze Fast Fire’d Pizza will join Whole Foods and a number of yet-unannounced tenants in the new Clark Commons shopping center. The center is under construction on Raritan Road at the site of the former U.S. Gypsum plant.
To celebrate the Grand Opening of its Paramus location, Blaze Pizza is offering FREE build-your-own artisanal pizzas on Friday, Nov. 7 between 11:00 a.m. and midnight to anyone who follows Blaze Pizza on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook. The Paramus restaurant is located at 35 Plaza (65 Route 4), near Chipotle.
