Boys Soccer: Delmer Argenal Records Hat Trick As Summit Hilltoppers Defeat Johnson Crusaders

CLARK, NJ-  Summit High School senior Delmer Argenal recorded a hat trick as the Hilltoppers scored three second half goals to rally past the Arthur L. Johnson High School Crusaders by a final score of 4-2 Thursday afternoon in Clark.

For the Hilltoppers, senior Edwin Navas tallied his first goal of the season. Senior Andres Chacon registered two assists in the win for Summit.

For Johnson, senior Joe Bill and senior and co-captain Logan Guarino scored a goal each in the loss.

Junior goaltender Andrew Kehrle stopped six of ten Summit shots in the loss for the Crusaders.

The Johnson Crusaders (7-6) will face off at Elizabeth HS in the Union County Tournament Quarterfinals Saturday afternoon at 4:00 p.m.

The Summit Hilltoppers (9-4) head out on the road to play at Governor Livingston HS in the Union County Tournament Quarterfinals Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m.
