CLARK, NJ – Goals. Most people have them, only some people reach them. For Arthur L. Johnson High School senior Brandon Hund, hitting his goals has become a regular event. Hund scored his 100 lacrosse career goal on Saturday, May 11, 2019, against Jonathan Dayton High School.
Hund accomplished the feat in a big win over the Springfield school, improving the Crusader’s record to 9 wins and 6 losses. Hund currently has 101 goals and 97 assists for a total of 198 points over his career.
Not one to miss the opportunity to excel, Hund also reached his 1000 career varsity point in February of this year as he capped off his high school basketball career in the final quarter of one of the last regular season games.
Hund’s coach recognized him for his achievements on and off the field. “…a great competitor on the field. He has done everything except faceoff and get in the goal. He is not only a great athlete, but a model student athlete and a great ambassador for the game of lacrosse and the Crusader Lacrosse Program. We are proud of all his accomplishments as a Crusader,” said Head Coach Lou VanBergen
Brandon will be attending Towson University next year on a lacrosse scholarship.
