I am running again for a seat on the Board of Education because I have a keen interest on how the schools are run.   I believe that my educational experience is an asset.  Having been a teacher in Elizabeth for many years I feel that I am well-versed in many educational issues.

I attended the Clark Schools since fourth grade and am a graduate of Arthur L. Johnson High School, where I now serve on the alumni association board.  Last May I was inducted into ALJ's Hall of Fame as a community contributor.

I feel that I have always been responsive to anyone that may have a question or comment regarding the school system.   To me, being on the board is not just attending meetings,  it is going to various school functions such as sporting events, plays, musicals, open houses, and many other functions.  And do you know what?  I really enjoy them.  I enjoy interacting with the administrators, staff, and students.  That's how I find out about the wants and needs of the district.

Henry R. Varriano
