CLARK, NJ - Clark police and fire departments responded to a single car accident early Saturday morning on Featherbed Lane. According to Police Chief Pedro Matos, a 65-year-old woman drove her car into a curb, then struck a tree which resulted in the car rolling over.
"My wife and I thought someone fell in the garage or something," said a nearby property owner who declined to give his name. "I thought maybe it was my father. We looked all around, came out here and saw the car turned over." He said the driver was able to get out of the car and found her way to the curb where she sat until emergency personnel arrived.
"The driver was treated on the scene and released," Matos said. The incident remains under investigation.
