Clark Artist Ryan Frees Takes Top Spot in Union County Employee Art Show

UNION, NJ – Ryan Frees of Clark took first place in the amateur division of the 15thAnnual Union County Employee Art Show, the county announced on Thursday.

The contest, co-sponsored by the Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders and The National Arts Program Foundation, is open to Union County employees and their relatives.  

Union County Freeholder Chairman Bruce H. Bergen, Vice Chairman Sergio Granados and Freeholders Bette Jane Kowalski and Vernell Wright congratulated Frees on his win during the show’s opening reception, held at the Elizabethtown Gas Company’s Liberty Hall Center.

Also named were Diego Otero of Scotch Plains (Youth – 12 and under), Michael Endy of Westfield (Best in Show) and Richard Earl of Westfield (Professional)

The exhibit will be open to the public weekdays until May 24, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.at the Elizabethtown Gas Company, located at Liberty Hall Center, 1085 Morris Avenue in Union Township. (Photos by Jim Lowney/County of Union)

NJ American Water Working to Replace Water Mains in Clark

VOORHEES, NJ – New Jersey American Water plans to replace roughly 1,200 feet of water main lines in Clark according to a notice released on May 16.
