CLARK, NJ – A day late but spectacular nonetheless, the annual Clark fireworks show was held on Tuesday, July 5 after heavy rains on Independence Day forced a postponement.

Although Clark Recreation Director Ralph Bernardo thought the delay might have an impact on attendance, people streamed through the gates of the Arthur L. Johnson High School field to set up blankets and chairs.   The field was covered as families, couples, young and old gathered for the timeless tradition of watching fireworks light up the night sky to celebrate America’s independence.
