CLARK, NJ – What began as a mail-order veterinary supply business in California in 1965 has now grown to a pet superstore with more than 1,300 locations across the United States, Mexico and Puerto Rico.  Petco will open in the new Clark Commons later this year, confirmed Megan Oxford, marketing communications specialist for the company.

"At Petco, we believe it is our duty to provide the products, services and knowledge that will allow pet parents take the best possible care of their pets and celebrate their precious time together," said Oxford. Petco is focused on "The Power of Together,a celebration of the intense bond between pets and pet parents.

Oxford said that more information about the Clark location will be available as the date of the store’s grand opening draws closer.
