CLARK, NJ - In their very first year as a troop, Girl Scout Troop 40234 from Valley Road School, made it their mission to give back to the Clark community.

Since forming in September 2017, they have cleaned up trash, fixed up the flower bed outside of their school and collected and donated books to a local non-profit that distributes them to underserved areas in NJ.

Recently they used a large portion of the proceeds from their nut and cookie sales to donate to-go bags to the Clark Police Department.   They also gave a monetary donation to the Clark Volunteer Fire Department.
