TRENTON, NJ - Clark Education Association President Mike Mancino, Vice President Jennifer Lewis and Union County Education Association Representative Mary Jo Baker recently attended Lobby Day at the State Board of Education building in Trenton.  The three are teachers in the Clark Public School district.

After the general meeting, the floor was open to the public to voice their concerns about PARCC testing. The room was overcrowded with students, parents, teachers and administration. It was evident that all parties were concerned about the upcoming standardized testing.

The CEA will host a screening of the movie "Standardized - Lies, Money & Civil Rights: How Testing is Ruining Public Education" on Thursday, Feb 26, 2015 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Gran Centurion’s, 440 Madison Hill Road, Clark, NJ.   The informative event about PARCC testing will include a question and answer period.  Click for more information.
