CLARK,NJ - A fire on Crescent Parkway is under control after a blaze damaged the top of the house.   According to Mayor Bonaccorso, no one was home at the time of the fire.

Bonaccorso confirmed that the house belongs to Clark Police Officer Antonio Manata.  Manata received a call approximately ten minutes after he left home, that his house was on fire.

“The fully engulfed fire was not visible from the street, most of the damage is in the rear of the house” said Bonaccorso.

During the incident,  a Union County mutual aid fireman present on the scene had a heart attack and was rushed to an area hospital.
