CLARK, NJ - On Friday, August 2, the Clark Fire Department was dispatched to the train tracks near Oak Ridge Park after a call that a person had been struck on the tracks.   According to Fire Chief Frank Cerasa, when firefighters arrived, the Clark Volunteer Emergency Squad and a medic unit were treating a man on the ground.

Cerasa said his team set up a landing zone for a NJ State Police helicopter.  Once on the ground, the staff, treated and then transported the individual.  Cerasa said the incident was believed to be accidental.

 Clark FD responded with twelve members and two rescue engines.  No one else on the scene was injured.
