CLARK, NJ – A house fire at 12 Kenneth Place on Tuesday morning appears to have originated in the kitchen, according to Clark Fire Chief Frank Cerasa.   

Two Clark Engines with a total of ten crew members arrived on the scene at approximately 9:30 a.m. to heavy smoke conditions and an active fire.  The two occupants of the home were already outside said Cerasa.   

The Clark Volunteer Emergency Squad was on hand.  The event ended with no injuries according to Cerasa.  Mutual aid was sent from Cranford and Linden with an additional Rahway truck company on standby at Clark’s Broadway headquarters.
