CLARK, NJ - Local residents posted questions, opinions and perspectives on Facebook late Thursday in response to TAPinto Clark's story on an apartment complex being built at the intersection of Walnut Avenue and Valley Road.

Shortly after the debates began, Mayor Sal Bonaccorso joined the Facebook conversation trying to answer questions and clear up some misconceptions about affordable housing.

In an attempt to end the confusion, Bonaccorso told TAPinto Clark Friday morning that many of the resident's questions were previously answered during the August 2017 planning board meeting.

Bonaccorso said he believes the video of the Planning Board’s presentation to the public about affordable housing can really help residents understand what is happening not just in Clark but all around Union County and the state.

“I want the citizens of Clark to be informed.  I want them to understand what this (affordable housing) is all about,” said Bonaccorso.   “If they would just watch this video, I believe all their questions would be answered.”
