CLARK, NJ - A string of burglaries to unlocked cars on the west side of town prompted Clark Police Chief Pedro Matos to issue a warning at a recent town council meeting. “There was no forced entry in any of the vehicles,” said Matos.
He reported approximately ten cars were involved in the recent incident. Matos said the police had already identified the suspect. He said nothing was removed from the parked unlocked vehicles and speculated that the suspect was most likely looking for keys.
Residents are urged to remove all valuable items from their vehicles and make sure doors are locked and no keys or key fobs are left in the car.
