Clark Police Department to Hold Annual National Night Out

CLARK, NJ - , NJ – The Clark Police Department is inviting the community to join them at their 4th Annual National Night Out.  The event will be held on Tuesday August 1 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. in the parking lot of Arthur L. Johnson HS, adjacent to the police station. 

National Night Out events are held throughout the United States to increase interaction between the public and the police and to raise awareness about police programs in the community.

“We will have new events this year as this event keeps getting bigger and bigger each time, we encourage the community to come out and join us,  it’s a great opportunity to meet your first responders,” said Pedro Matos, Clark’s Chief of Police.

 The evening provides for a casual, fun and relaxed interaction between emergency responders and the communities they serve.  Citizens get a chance to meet those hired to protect and serve while enjoying some food and checking out of the vehicles and equipment  the police, fire and volunteer emergency squad use in the line of duty.

NJ American Water Working to Replace Water Mains in Clark

VOORHEES, NJ – New Jersey American Water plans to replace roughly 1,200 feet of water main lines in Clark according to a notice released on May 16.
