Congratulations to Clark Pop Warner’s Eighth Grade Cheerleaders: Gianna Caldiero and Gabriella Scipioni who currently attend Carl H. Kumpf Middle School in Clark, and Darby Brown and Adrianna Piarulli who attend Garwood’s Lincoln School for being selected to be on the 2017 Eastern Region Scholar Team.  This honor is bestowed upon the top spirit leaders in eighth grade from the Eastern Region’s five state area.

Out of 50,000 children participating in Pop Warner’s Eastern Region, Darby, Gianna, Adrianna and Gabriella were selected to this elite group because they received a grade point average of 96% or higher during the September 2015-June 2016 school year and for their strong commitment to school and community service. The girls will be honored at an Awards Ceremony, which will be held on March 18, in Philadelphia.

Aside from their scholastic success, the girls are also proud to be a part of the Clark Pop Warner’s Varsity Cheerleading Team run by Cheer Coordinator, Vicky Dente, that won 1st place in both the Garden State Cheer Competition and the Local Competition held in October 2016.  Clark Pop Warner wishes the girls future success as they continue with their education.
