Clark Recreation Fills Fall with Fun for All

CLARK, NJ - With over 80 programs and sports offered this fall, Clark Recreation is in full swing. There are activities for everyone - of any age, interest and ability. 

According to Recreation Director Ralph Bernardo, many of the classes are free, while others charge a nominal participation fee.

For a complete selection and description of programs and classes offered, Clark residents may stop in the recreation office or call the office at 732-428-8400.  Clark Recreation is located in the Clark Municipal Building, 430 Westfield Avenue.  

Pictured are just a few of the many classes offered: Senior Citizens Knitting and Crocheting, Parent and Me Sport Squirts, Conversational Spanish and Movin' and Groovin'.

Cranford Man Dies after Wrong-Way Crash on Route 9

April 10, 2018

WOODBRIDGE, NJ – A Cranford man died after his car collided with another vehicle on Route 9 on Sunday.

Thomas McHugh, 88, was driving north in the southbound fast lane on Route 9, where he crashed head-on into another vehicle. On impact, one of the cars caught fire, according to Sgt. Jim Chessere of the Woodbridge Police Department.
