CLARK, NJ - The Clark Girls Softball League has a newly named field.  The former instructional field is now known as the Ralph Bernardo Field after an opening day ceremony on Saturday, April 17 according to township officials.

League officials planned to hold the ceremony at the opening of the 2020 season, but the pandemic canceled  recreational leagues.   Despite the delay, former league President Mark Conforti proudly recognized Clark Recreation Director Ralph Bernardo’s dedication and service to the community.

“Ralph’s motto and mission of Clark Recreation is to provide the community with a variety of youth, adult and family activities that will give citizens a more productive and gratifying quality of life…You can tell Ralph clearly loves his job and is always, and I repeat, always available and approachable for ideas or a helping hand,” said Conforti. “We chose to show our appreciation to Ralph and all that he has done for our community.”
