SPRINGFIELD, NJ - Jennifer Colamedici of Clark was among a group of six local women recently honored as The Boy Scouts of America, Patriots’ Path Council held their 17th Annual 'Tribute to Women' Awards Luncheon.
Colamedici was joined by Jeanne Kingsley of Berkeley Heights, Katie Nolle of New Providence, Grace Park of Westfield and Amanda Parrish Block and Christine Hayward of Summit in being recognized for serving as exemplary role models for the area youth.
The recipients were chosen for their outstanding service and leadership in their communities. They are citizens who live the ideals of the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives. The 2017 luncheon chairs were Jacquie Cleary and Sandra Lizza, both prior Tribute to Women honorees.
Through the event, funds were raised to support the award-winning child abuse prevention programs offered to the community at large by the Boy Scouts of America. The Patriots’ Path Council ranks high among all the Boy Scout Councils in the nation in their fight against child abuse.
