Clothing Drive to Benefit ALJ Project Graduation 2016

Start your spring cleaning now.  Pack up your unwanted items and bring them to Arthur L. Johnson High School for the 2016 Project Graduation Clothing Drive Fundraiser on April 2, between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.    All donations can be dropped at the front doors.

If you can’t make it that day, but would like someone to pick-up items from your home please call Pam (732)499-6833 or Reney at (908) 463-7472

We are collecting the following:

  • Clothing and Shoes (Please put in separate bags) 
  • Purses, Backpacks, Briefcases, Hats, Gloves, Belts, Scarves, Ties
  • Blankets, Bed Sheets, Comforters, Pillows, Quilts, Table Cloths, Curtains
  • Drapery, Towels, Bath Rugs, Dolls, Stuffed Animals, Action Figures,
  • Cars, Trucks, Bicycles

Cranford Man Dies after Wrong-Way Crash on Route 9

April 10, 2018

WOODBRIDGE, NJ – A Cranford man died after his car collided with another vehicle on Route 9 on Sunday.

Thomas McHugh, 88, was driving north in the southbound fast lane on Route 9, where he crashed head-on into another vehicle. On impact, one of the cars caught fire, according to Sgt. Jim Chessere of the Woodbridge Police Department.
