CLARK, NJ - College students looking to learn more about how to write a powerful college application essay might want to attend a workshop being offered at Arthur L. Johnson this summer.
A college essay writing program will run from Monday, August 12 through Friday, August 16 from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm in the ALJ Computer Lab. The purpose of the institute is to assist students with the college application essay process.
Students will receive college essay writing support such as writing tips, what to avoid in writing the essay, critique and revision assistance. A teacher will help students brainstorm to find "their story" so their essay can stand out. Class size will be limited to 10 to 15 students to optimize individualized attention.

This class is open to incoming seniors attending the Clark Public Schools. Please respond and submit payment to main office secretary at ALJ by June 28.
