Cub Scout Pack 145 contributed to the Clark community in several ways this May. Cub Scouts started the month by spending several hours picking up debris, raking, planting flowers and adding mulch to the strip of property at Miller and Westfield Avenues. Scouts had the property looking beautiful just in time for the Memorial Day Parade.
Cub Pack 145 also participated in the town's annual Memorial Day Parade. Scouts were present in full Class A uniforms and marched in honor and remembrance of all fallen heroes. They placed flags at the town memorial outside of Arthur L. Johnson High School in honor of each Clark resident lost in the line of duty. The Pack's parade float carried a special World Trade Center artifact on it during this year's parade. The artifact is scheduled to be placed at the James A. Nelson Memorial Park on Broadway and Grant. For more information on Cub Pack 145 or about scouting, visit www.cubpack145.info
