Thank you!

I would like to express my gratitude to all the Clark residents that came out to vote this past Tuesday.  This was my first time running for any kind of board or office and I was new to the whole election process.  As a candidate for the BOE, I got a glimpse of how tough an election can get.  I am glad to say the support I had around town had a positive outcome for my campaign.  I am looking forward to being part of the Clark Board of Education for the next 3 years!  Congratulations to all the candidates who ran this past Tuesday.

Without my wife, Cathy, this would not have been a reality. She was my biggest supporter and I want to thank her for all she has done.

As for the residents of Clark, words cannot express how thankful I am for the support that I received during this election.  The town saw an opportunity to vote for someone new, someone with a fresh perspective on the current issues and they showed their support by voting for me!  Thank you for taking a chance on someone new.  I appreciate every vote that was cast for me and will not take this for granted.

January cannot come soon enough, I am ready to jump in and work with the other members of the Board.  I meant everything I have said, I am here to help and listen to everyone in the district.  We are one town and we need to work together to achieve the common goal. That goal: what is best for the schools!!

TAPintoClark should also be congratulated for the election coverage they provided and also setting up the Candidates night for the BOE candidates.

Thank you again,

Steve Donkersloot
