EDISON, NJ – After weeks in the national spotlight, one theater in Edison is showing the movie “The Interview.” The film is playing in little over 300 independent theaters across country yet grossed over $1 million on Christmas.

In the action-comedy "The Interview", Dave Skylark (James Franco) and his producer Aaron Rapoport (Seth Rogen) run the popular celebrity tabloid TV show 'Skylark Tonight.' When they discover that North Korean leader Kim Jong-un is a fan of the show, they land an interview with him in an attempt to legitimize themselves as journalists. As Dave and Aaron prepare to travel to Pyongyang, their plans change when the CIA recruits them, perhaps the most unlikely candidates, to 'take out' Kim Jong-un.

According to Rotten Tomatoes, an online movie review site, "The Interview" received an average rating (5.9/10) on the Tomatometter. The Tomatometer rating is based on the published opinions of hundreds of film and television critics. It is a trusted measurement of movie and TV programming quality for millions of moviegoers. It represents the percentage of professional critic reviews that are positive for a given film or television show.
