CLARK, NJ - PJ’s, teddy bears, and books brought big smiles to students’ faces of during Valley Road Elementary School’s recent story time.

“Elect to Read”, a story time open to Valley Road’s kindergartners, first graders, and second graders, encouraged students to choose to read.

"During this campaign season, we are encouraging our students to “Elect to Read”.  So many students "elected" to come and listen to stories at VRS Story Time,” Valley Road Principal Joseph Beltramba said.  “Mrs. Peitz led the committee of teachers and parents who set up this wonderful evening of reading to students in several smaller groupings. We would also like to thank the PTA for their generous donation of snacks.”
