CLARK, NJ – After what turned out to be a beautiful Labor Day, the 2016-2017 school year kicked off on Tuesday for the Clark Public Schools.  Students, teachers and parents welcomed the day with warm smiles and excitement for a fresh start and return to routine.

“I'm excited for the new school year to begin and can't wait to get to each of the schools to visit with the students on their first day,” Superintendent Ed Grande said.  “Their energy on this day is always contagious.”

Many thanks to the parents who shared their family photos, providing a glimpse into the first day of school.
