CLARK, NJ - Just a short while ago, before schools were forced to close Frank K. Hehnly Elementary students had a chance to celebrate Read Across America.  Students enjoyed guest readers including Board of Education President Steve Donkersloot, Superintendent Edward Grande, and members of the Carl H. Kumpf National Junior Honor Society. Special guests selected a Dr. Seuss book to read to a designated grade level.

According to the National Education Association, “Read Across America is an annual reading motivation and awareness program that calls for every child in every community to celebrate reading on March 2, the birthday of beloved children's author Dr. Seuss.”
