CLARK, NJ --  The Union Catholic girls soccer, which trailed for most of the game, completed a great come-from-behind win when Kaleigh Gunsiorowski scored late in the game to give the Vikings a 3-2 victory over Johnson on Thursday.

The Vikings, now 3-1-2 on the season, fell behind 1-0 for the third straight game, and trailed 2-1 in the second half. But senior Christina Layden, who has been a goal-scoring machine this season, scored her second goal of the game in the second half to level the score at 2-2. Layden has now notched seven goals this season.

Union Catholic finished off the comeback when Gunsiorowski, a very talented sophomore midfielder, converted off a feed from freshman Kate LaBarge with under five minutes to play to give the Vikings

The Vikings will be back in action on Monday when UC celebrates Senior Day on Monday when they host Kent Place at 4 p.m.
