CLARK, NJ – Frank K. Hehnly’s PTA recently celebrated Valentine’s Day early with their fifth annual Sweetheart Tea event. This year’s event drew a mix of over 300 students and guests. Hehnly students were invited to extend an invitation to a special loved one, such as a grandparent, relative or a friend, to spend an afternoon filled with fun and treats.

“Each year the students look forward to this special event and spending time with their family and friends,” said Hehnly PTA President, Jennifer Pittari. “We’d like to thank all those parents, Hehnly faculty, and members of Boy Scout Troop 145 for all their help in making this year’s event the best yet.”

Participants enjoyed Valentine’s Day themed treats, created a personalized craft, and played Bingo for a fun-filled afternoon. In addition, the PTA took a remembrance photo of every student and their guest, as a memento of this special event.
