CLARK, NJ – With respect and treating others fairly infused into their everyday at the Frank K. Hehnly School, students showed a symbol of their caring ways towards the world during this year’s Week of Respect by creating a human peace sign.
Under the direction of Mrs. Badillo, School Counselor, over 500 students assembled on the school’s playground to create this symbol of hope.
“I am so proud that our teachers talk about respect, responsibility to our community, and tolerance each and every day at Hehnly School,” explained Shirley Bergin, Principal. “We make it a part of our daily vocabulary and urge our students to bring what they learn in school to the outside world. At Hehnly we encourage our students to become productive and caring citizens of the world.”
