The annual Best Hospitals rankings are designed to help patients make informed decisions about where to receive care for life-threatening conditions or for common elective procedures. Results are based on risk-adjusted survival and readmission rates, volume, patient experience, patient safety, quality of nursing care and other care-related indicators.

“Atlantic Health System is dedicated to building healthier communities,” said Brian Gragnolati, president and CEO, Atlantic Health System. “These national and regional rankings demonstrate our workforce’s commitment to this goal, and are evidence of their firm commitment to patient safety, positive quality outcomes, and high-quality medical care.”
