High Street Resident Arrested in Somerville, Faces Multiple Drug Charges

SOMERVILLE, NJ – A Somerville man faces multiple drug possession charges after police executed a search warrant at his home on East High Street.

Stephen Bunner, 31, is being held at the Somerset County Jail in lieu of $75,000 bail, according to Acting Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson.

Members of the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Organized Crime and Narcotics Task Force along with members of the Somerville Police Department executed a Superior Court search warrant on at Bunner’s residence at 12:40 p.m. Oct. 11..

The search resulted in the seizure of approximately 57 grams of cocaine, 250 wax folds of heroin, approximately 6.8 grams of Psilocybin Mushrooms, 2 tabs of LSD, 8 Suboxone films, 3 Alprazolam pills, 1 Amphetamine and Dextroamphetamine pill, a quantity of marijuana (under 50 grams), 3 digital scales, empty plastic bags, and empty glass vials.

Detectives also seized $6,344.00 in cash.  Bunner was placed under arrest at his residence without incident.

The seized cocaine has an estimated street value of $4,560 and the heroin has an estimated street value of $1,500, according to Robertson.

Bunner is charged with 2nd Degree Possession of CDS (Cocaine) with the Intent to Distribute, 3rd Degree Possession of CDS (Heroin) with the Intent to Distribute, 3rd Degree Possession of CDS (Psilocybin Mushrooms), 3rd Degree Possession of CDS  (LSD), 3rd Degree Possession of CDS (Suboxone), 3rd Degree Possession of CDS (Alprazolam), 3rd Degree Possession of CDS (Amphetamine), Possession of CDS (marijuana) under 50 grams, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, both Disorderly Persons Offenses.
