CLARK, NJ — Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects, knock down tree limbs and take down power lines, the National Weather Service advised Thursday morning.

A wind advisory is in effect until 8 p.m., a Weather Service alert said. Forecasters said to anticipated winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts around 45 mph, the advisory stated.

“Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high-profile vehicle,” the Weather Service stated. “Secure outdoor objects.”
