ROSELLE, NJ - The Arthur L. Johnson High School ice hockey team had a decisive shut-out win over Westfield on Wednesday, beating them 3-0 and boosting the Crusaders’ record to 3-2 on the season.

Johnson’s goaltender, senior Nicola Demarzo, stopped all 26 shots on goal for the Crusaders, while Westfield’s goaltender let in 3 of 18.

Crusaders juniors Jack Lomeli and Ty Schafer and freshman Tyler Mekovitz each put one in the net. Credited with the assists: freshman Jason Applin with two and junior Matt Boho with one.

The Crusaders travel to West Essex on Friday, Dec. 18 for a 6:45 p.m. game. Westfield travels to Morristown, also on Friday, for an 8 p.m. game.
