In his downtime Downey enjoys working out, skating, listening to music, and volunteering in the Heroes and Cool Kids organization. The Heroes and Cool Kids organization builds courage, character, and perseverance in teens and preteens.

“He truly cares about his peers and the people around him, he is always kind and diligent in his work,” said Mrs. Jacobi, his Pre-Med teacher, “I’d say his greatest asset is his positive attitude.”

Although Downey is excited to begin his journey in the medical field, he will miss Friday night football games, and playing sports throughout the year. Downey would also like to thank Mr. Fosco for being the reason learning became enjoyable and for guiding him on his path to success.
