Partnering with parents to continue improving a child’s communication skills while direct in-person services are not available from home
FUNctional Speech and Language is now offering a new telehealth service, providing speech and language evaluations and/or treatment sessions for kids ages 1-8 over video conferencing. Speech and language skills are essential to a child’s overall development. A child needs to be able to communicate clearly to get basic needs/wants met as well as socialize. Prioritizing your child’s communication skills will set them up for success in other remote learning sessions during COVID-19.
FUNctional Speech and Language owner and founder Amanda Kukis M.A., CCC-SLP, is also hosting two LIVE webinars FREE for parents to learn strategies she personally uses in her teletherapy sessions to coach parents on how they can promote speech/language skills while staying at home during COVID-19.
