Med-Evac Required in Pedestrian Accident

CLARK, NJ - Two pedestrians walking on Gibson Street behind Target were struck by a motor vehicle a short while ago.  A med-evac helicopter was required to transport the injured to the hospital.  The helicopter landed on the field at the Arthur L. Johnson High School.  Emergency responders are on the scene.

Additional details will be provided when available.

STORY UPDATE:

According to the Clark Police Department, the injured pedestrians are a 59-year-old male and a 56-year-old female.  Names are being withheld pending notification of the family.  Both are hospitalized and listed in stable condition.  The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene.  No other details are available and the accident is still under investigation.
