CLARK, NJ - Police and emergency personnel are currently at the site of an accident involving six cars on the southbound lanes of the Garden State Parkway in Clark. The accident occurred just before 3 p.m.  south of the Madison Hill Road overpass. No details are available yet about the cause of the accident or any injuries. Traffic in the southbound lanes is at a standstill and the rubbernecking on the northbound side is causing traffic to slow down as well.  

UPDATE at 6:37 pm - According to New Jersey State Police, there were no serious injuries reported.  The accident was cleared and traffic patterns returned to normal. (SRB)
