CLARK, NJ - Voters who cast their ballots at Valley Road School will see some changes in building access on Tuesday, Nov. 4.

The school's new driveway and parking lot provide direct access to the gymnasium, where the voting machines are located.  Voters will no longer have to enter through the school’s main door and walk through the hallways back to the polls.

“It will be much more convenient for people to vote,” said Town Clerk Edie Merkel, “I’m very excited about this new configuration.  It came out great.”

Voters will now drive onto the school grounds through the new driveway located on the west side of the building.  Parking is available in the new parking lot.   Voters will then enter the building through the gymnasium doors, located adjacent to the parking lot.   Both the lot and building entrance are handicapped accessible.

Signage will be placed at the school to direct voters on Election Day.

Election Day is Nov. 4. Polls are open from 6:00 am until 8:00 p.m.
