FANWOOD/SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ -- Former Scotch Plains-Fanwood YMCA (FSPY) swimmer Ana Bogdanovski had the honor of carrying in the Macedonian flag at the opening ceremonies of the Olympic games in Rio on Friday night.

Ana Bogdanovski, who also swam  for Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School, holds dual U.S. and Macedonian citizenship.

TAPintoSPF recently profiled the Olympic swimmer when she returned to her home pool.
