FLEMINGTON, NJ – Isidore Heath Campbell – the man who became known as “the Nazi dad” – has pleaded guilty to obstruction of justice and resisting arrest, according to a press release from Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony P. Kearns, III.

Campbell gained national notoriety when he asked ShopRite to decorate a cake wishing his son – Adolf Hitler Campbell – a happy birthday. The store refused.

Campbell also named his other children using Nazi-inspired names, such as JoyceLynn Aryan Nation and Honszlynn Hinler. Campbell has often appeared in court wearing a Nazi-like uniform.

Campbell entered his plea yesterday. According to the release:

On October 19 last year, the Holland Township Police were called to investigate a domestic violence incident. Campbell left the scene prior to police arriving and was later charged with aggravated assault in connection with the incident.

Campbell then fled to Pennsylvania to obstruct the investigation and elude arrest. He was later arrested by police in Shippensburg, Pa. on March 1 and returned to New Jersey.

As part of the plea agreement, Campbell could face up to 180 days in jail, probation and be required to undergo a mental health evaluation.

Sentencing is scheduled for June.
